Elder Team

The role of the Elder Team is to provide oversight and establish the general direction in accordance with Grace Bible Fellowship’s mission, vision, values and beliefs.  This team is ultimately responsible for measuring and evaluating the health of the church which includes broad oversight over Grace Bible Fellowship’s ministries in order to leverage resources, spiritual gifts and experiences; to provide oversight to deal with church and ministry issues; to maintain communication and connection between ministries and church leadership and to focus on ministry effectiveness and discipleship. 

Recommendations to fill the office of Elder shall be requested once a year from all church members. A Nominating Committee consisting of not less than five (5) active church members shall be appointed by the Board of Elders, who will also designate a chairman of the committee. This committee shall review church members and make nominations and determine each nominee’s qualifications and willingness to serve. Each Elder shall serve three (3) year terms.  Each member of the Board of Elders must be an active member of this church and possess the qualifications described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
